A brand new suite of tools made in Java. called CDSP Tools, it features a bunch of handy genetic and sprite related tools. as seen in the screenshot below.
Highlights include a Norn Poser with image export (and the ability to read a norns genetics to pose!) and an option to fix all the rainbow spew in the install.

# CAOSProxy
CAOSProxy, or CPX, is a network-transparent protocol to connect to the C2E shared memory interface described at http://double.nz/creatures/developer/sharedmemory.htm .
It is intended for mixed environments where the game or applications may not be running natively.
For further information see `spec.txt`.
*The Python tools for interfacing with CPX have been moved to the `python` directory.*
*This also includes cpxciesv.py because that be how import resolution in Python rolls, and I'm not going to force you to install the Python files as eggs or whatever.*
## `w32` (CAOSProxy Server W32)
`caosprox.exe` is a CAOSProxy (CPX) server to be used on Wine or on Windows.

default mode is loud, HOST is 127.0.0.1 (set to 0.0.0.0 for remote access), default PORT is 19960, default game is autodetected
all prior args must be specified if you wish to use one

`caosprxc.exe` is the same, but as a console application.
`engine-cpx.dll` is the same again, but it's a loadable module you drop in your game directory, so you don't need to manually start the server.

# cdsp-tools
cdsp-tools is a miscellaneous assortment of GUI (and maybe CLI at some point) tools. It is where stuff goes which ought to have a GUI, but really ought not to add yet another thing to build into releases.
Current features include:
* Can inject `.creature` and `.gen` files as eggs
* (Incomplete) genome viewer
* Norn poser with tinting and genetics
* C16/S16/BLK viewer
* Batch colour conversion to fix RGB555 sprites
