Description
Creatures @ CU7: Despite the name, not all of these breeds were first released on Creatures @ CU7. A good chunk of them were first available at KnyteTrypper's C3/DS Nexus or the Gameware Forums first; Creatures @ CU7 was just their latest home, and the place they were available the longest before now.
Dusty Aquas I call these aquanorns "Dusty" because of their colour – they are a very dull green, which makes them look a bit dusty.
Yeah, they look like the aquanorns, but if you try to put these guys underwater, you won't have much success raising them. This is because Dusty Aquas are land-living norns.
When young, dusty aquas are like any other norn. When they become adolescent, they want to "Go Up." This is because they need more space – to fly. Yes, adolescent and older dusties can fly with the included flying agent, which is pretty much the same one as the one that came with the lung grendels.
In addition, the dusty aquas need less food and live only half as long as normal norns.
They use the sprites of the Aquanorns (Ettin K).
Flame Norn These norns love the heat. They need the fire to live. Without heat, their digestive system shuts down, leading to starvation. Their metabolism, however, has found a way around the relative lack of heat-it is produced with every breath.
Other features of the flame norns: -They are immune to dying from water loss due to heat. -They are mostly friendly but are efficient grendel hunters. -They may also give an ettin a few smacks. -They live longer than most norns. -They use the sprites of the Hardman Norns, Magma Norns (Norn N and E), and Butterfly Norns(Geat A)
Ice Dragons These norns are based on magma norns. However, they are the opposite of the magma norns – they require cold weather to feel comfortable, as their colour may say.
Other features of the Ice Dragons: -They like to hit grendels when bored, angry, or crowded. -They are mostly carnivorous, save for eating seeds. -They live longer then most norns. -They use the sprites of the Draconian Norns (Geat Z).
Kraler Draconian v1.2 These are the new version of kraler draconians. The changes are they age slower, they do not need to eat as frequently, their color, and sprite usage. They now use only draconian sprites.
Night Norn These were inspired by a C2 breed of the same name, and they have similar characteristics to their relatives.
When first born, they are normal norns, except for color and the tendency to get crowded around norns. Also, the young are comforted by the presence of ettins, and are scared of grendels.
When they become youth/adult, they suddenly become more agressive, with grendels making them angry. However, Ettins still act as a calming device for frustrated night norns.
The Night Norns use the sprites of the Bruin Norns (Norn Slot A).
Ocean Bondi Norn* Unlike the normal bondi norns, these norns are amphibious. If they have acess to an elevator, they will want to go down. They have no reason to leave the water, and they don't do so often. The instinct to eat critters was more refined, they are notebly more agressive than normal bondi norns (but not too agressive), and they crawl most of their lives, except when they are feeling "friendly". They will also play with critters, although they like toys as well.
Shadow Bengals* These norns are sensitive to light-Light will heavily injure (but probably not kill) them. There fore, it is recommended you get the moon light norns' agents to make them a darkroom in which to live. The Cappilata Hub is a good place to set up the agents.
Other Features of the Genome- -They like to eat detritus. -Alcohol is used to produce starch when hungry for starch, but is otherwise unnoticeable. -They hate grendels, and want to hunt them down. -They feel homesick for dark places. -They live a long time. -They use teleporters when crowded. -They use the sprites of the Bengal Norns (Norn B).
ShadowChi Norn The light-hating cousins of the common ChiChi norn.
When exposed to too much light, they are sent into great pain but are otherwise undamaged. If taken out of the light, they recover quickly. A side effect of light is that as long as they are in it, they are unable to breed.
The ShadowChi are loners, who will not normally appreciate the presence of others. They also fear grendels and ettins.
They need less food than a normal ChiChi Norn, and can eat anything.
They use only normal ChiChi sprites (Norn slot D). In C3 Standalone, they will look like civets (Norn slot C) unless the ChiChi sprites are somehow installed.
Includes the Shadow Robot Toy that functions like a normal one, but reduce the light in a room greatly, making conditions much more comfortable for the ShadowChi.
Talon Bengals Designed for desert life. They like heat, as they get cold easily. Their diet consists of food and critters, similar to the Carnivore Norns. However, they differ from the carnivore norns in being able to eat other types of food without getting sick.
Homesick Talon Bengals will head for the Ettin Terrarium generally.
They get angry easily. When angry, they will either hit ettins or attack other norns.
They use the sprites of the Bengal Norns (Norn slot B).
Troglobite Norns
"Troglobite" is a general term for lifeforms who live in caves. They are often eyeless, pale, and able to go long periods without food and live for a long time.
Troglobite Norns are photosensitive – they will act like they are in pain while in bright areas, and eventually their immune system will shut down. Therefore, living in the dark is a necessity.
If you manage to avoid allowing them into bright areas, they require little food and will live much longer than regular norns. They like to eat detritus.
They require the sprites of the Bruin Norns (Norn Slot A).
Waterbender Norns These norns prefer to live under the sea, where it is cool than on land. They may complain of being cold, but they won't shiver. Sometime after they hatch, they start sneezing and coughing. Don't worry, this is a reaction they have to be hot. After being in the water for a few minutes, it stops. Also, coldness will reduce injury levels, but hotness will increase them (they need to have done something to get injured, though, don't worry about this too much).
Other features of the genome:
- They eat critters and bugs sometimes, but really prefer to be vegitarians.
- They are mostly peaceful. However, when attacked, they will fight back.
- They are slightly more fragile then normal norns when it comes to being hit by another creature.
- They want to go down when out of water.
- They also want to go down when in pain or hot.
- They use the sprites of the Fimbul Norns (Grendel T).
Aquatic ChiChi Norns As their name says, these are chichi norns that live underwater. They can breathe both underwater and ashore, eat critters, and swim with the improved swimmeragent. They also have genes that make them generally better eaters and less frequent breeders.
Sprites: ChiChi Norn (Norn slot D). In Creatures 3 standalone, they will look like Civet Norns (Norn slot C) unless you somehow have the ChiChi sprites installed in C3.
Battlenorns These norns are very aggressive. They make good grendel hunters, but grendels are not the only things these guys hate. They get crowded easily, and hate just about everybody but themselves. They like to hit anybody-should it be norn, grendel, or ettin. They do not get lonely or homesick, and like to eat critters and bugs. They are a chromatic red colour, symbolising their evil. They use bruin norn and grendel sprites.
Use? Hold norn battle competitions and see who lives the longest, or breed them into your gene pool to make fighting norns – if they don't kill their mate first.
Carnivorous ChiChi Norns
These are chichi norns that eat meat. While they can still eat other food, they get more nutrition out of critters than anything.
They have better immune systems than regular chichis, and females will want to go to the Grendel Home to lay their eggs.
They have a short temper compared to regular chichis – they become very angry when smacked, grendels will make them mad, and males will start defending females against grendels in Youth. However, a carnivorous chichi norn will be just as likely to start hitting another norn out of anger.
They come with a .cos file that makes the snotrocks edible.
They just need plain ChiChi sprites (Norn Slot D). Unless the chichi sprites are installed, in C3 standalone, they'll look like reddish civet norns.
Cazador Norns In Spanish, "Cazador" means "Hunter".
The cazador norns are red bruins who do not need starch. Protein is used instead to produce glucose. Therefore, this frees the cazador norns from the need to eat seeds or fruit-in fact, the drive "Hunger for Starch" has been "burnt out of" their psyche, in other words, they never get hungry for starch. Instead, the cazador norns are carnivorous – they eat critters and bugs. Babies and children prey on bugs, and adolescents and older prefer critters.
Other features:
- Their immune system is stronger than a normal norn's
- They are more aggressive than normal but don't get angry unless slapped by another creature.
- Pain converts to anger
- They prefer the Jungle Terrarium over the Norn Terrarium or Norn Meso.
- Bruin Norn sprites (Norn A) are needed to show the cazador norns correctly, but they still work without them.
