The tropical fruit from which Fig the Happy Grendel takes his name is introduced 
into Albia. Growing up from the floor of the Albian jungle, it winds its trunk 
around the bamboo platform between the Temple and the Submarine Cave.

What will the files do?

Fig Tree.COB
This COB injects a young Fig Tree into the jungle underneath the Grendel Tree, 
upon which grow five ripe figs, ready to eat. This fruit is sweet and juicy, and 
also has pain-numbing properties.

Creatures eating the fruit of the Fig Tree will receive:
Starch: +60
Glucose: +40
Need for Pleasure: -100
Pain: -50

How do I use this cob?
1.Open your Creatures directory.
2.Copy the files "Fig Tree.COB" and "Fig Tree.RCB" into the 
Creatures main directory.
3.Copy the file "figt.SPR" into the Creatures/Images directory.
4.When running Creatures, use a Cob Injector to inject the cob. 
  A cob injector can be downloaded from The Official Creatures site at:

How do I get rid of this cob?

Inject Fig Tree.RCB using the Object Injector.

Albian Pear Tree V.1.0 (Pirus Albians)
  ⇥⇥⇥--------------------------------------

This COB injects a new plant in Albia, a Pear Tree. It's a variety of the original plant
but it will grow in Albia as it's adapted to the Albian climate.

⇥- Latin Name: Pirus Albians
⇥- Flower type: Broad-cup-shaped.
⇥- Flower color: Inner petals are salmon pink, outer ones silvery white.
⇥- Fruits: Albian pears
⇥- Fruit characteristics: soft fruit covered with green-brown splodges. Rich in
⇥⇥⇥⇥ Vitamins C & E. When it rots after some time, it becomes
⇥⇥⇥⇥ toxic and causes pain to any norn that eats it. After
⇥⇥⇥⇥ some time it dies.

The pears, when eaten ripe, have the following effects on the norn:

When first installed, the pear tree will appear as a small red seed next to the temple.
This seed will continue growing at a certain pace, until it has reached maturity. You
will know this when you see it has developped a light brown trunk with a few branches
and small green leaves resembling the ones of a Maple tree. But it won't flower until it
has reached its maximum height. This is when it will produce the beautiful pink blooms 
that chracterize it. These beautiful flowers can only be pollinated by bees and cloud
butterflies, so make sure you have injected them before in Albia. You will probably

CAVE FLY
The cave fly is an annoying flying insect that likes dark, damp locations - 
they can carry disease and infection so keep an eye on any wandering norns!
If you can not cope with the added danger from the Cave Fly you can swat 
them out of the air - or encourage your norns to.

Pressing INJECT will put 6 Cave Flies into the world near the submarine bay.

This makes a web just below the Grendel Tree
It will trap some forms of Albian insect
Then the spider will eat it

For those of you who think that your Norns are pampered by all these nice, 
fluffy COBs, here's something to put a little danger and excitement back 
into Albia. From far away over the sea a new variety of insect has invaded 
Albia, making picnics a risky business - Wasps!

What will the files do?

Wasp Nest.COB
This COB injects a Wasp Nest into the tree branches near the Submarine Cave. 
When the nest is pushed, swarms of angry wasps will spew forth. These wasps 
are attracted to honey pots. Mmm, sweet stuff.

Creatures which push the nest or are stung by the wasps will suffer:
Pain: +100
Need for Pleasure: +25
Fever Toxin: +5
Glycotoxin: +3

*IMPORTANT!* Please note the small dose of Glycotoxin, which can add up if a 
Norn must insist on pestering the wasps - these are not friendly insects, and 
multiple stings may prove dangerous to a Norn's health!

Wasp Remover.COB
Gets rid of any leftover wasps after the nest has been removed.

How do I use this cob?
