NEW medical pod and screens.cos
By: Hajile

CHANGELOG:

v1.1 - Fixed a null targ error with the disease and injury screen.
Also fixed a text display issue with the injury level meter.

INSTALLATION:

Backup your "medical pod and screens.cos" file in your C3 folder and then delete it and replace it with this one.
All new worlds will have this functionality embedded into their medical pods and screens.

If you wish to use this in an existing world simply install the file into the C3 folder, enter your world
and press Ctrl + C, this will bring up the CAOS command Line. From here type ***ject "NEW medical pod and screens.cos" 7***
without the *'s there you have it.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

There's two new graphing options in the chem graphing screen. "Reproductive" and "Custom"
I needed an extra button so i squashed the male and female graphs together. It's adaptive now,
depending on the sex of the creature in the medical pod at the time it will display the relevant chemicals.
If no creature is in the medical pod it will choose randomly between the two.

Anyways pressing the "Custom" option will bring up a blank screen, just click where text should be and enter a chem number.
If its a named chem your entry will be converted. The graph will then begin to graph your entry with the line color corresponding
to the colored sphere to the left of your entry.

The text box in the chem injection screen is a pat: text now and chem numbers can be entered into it to automatically select them.
The buttons still work as well.

While the chem injection screen is open it can take speech bubble commands. "inject xxx xxx" is the only one currently. The first xxx is the dosage which is anything between
0.1 and 1.0 rounded up to the nearest tenth. The second xxx is the chem to be injected. "inject 1 001" is valid, as well as "inject 0.56 3". Keep in mind that injections are in tenths
of a mole. Make sure you know what you're doing as there is no confirmation.

While the chem injection screen is open it can respond to keyboard shortcuts to perform sequences of autoinjections. The chem injection module will ping when finished.
The combinations are:

Ctrl + I = 1.0 dose of Antibodies 0 through 7

Ctrl + L = 0.3 dose of Pyruvate and Glucose

Ctrl + T = 1.0 dose of Tiredness, Sleepiness, and Sleepase

Misc shortcuts:

Ctrl + F = Fills syringe completely

Ctrl + E = Empties syringe (without injecting)

A really minor feature is that the power button and back button both function properly now, the back button will take you back one screen while the power button
will turn off the chem analysis screen and the injury and disease screen (if its on).

REALLY DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

The first major feature is the custom graphing screen.
This can be found by opening the Chemical Analysis screen
(the flashing blue button directly to the left of the medical pod)
and selecting the Chemical Graphing Module. (the button on the left
with the squiggly line).

Those who have used the Chemical Graphing Module often will notice two differences.
The "Male Reproductive" and "Female Reproductive" selections have been overwritten with
"Reproductive" and "Custom". While the Custom selection is the main focus I feel like I
should explain the Reproductive selection. Due to me needing an extra button I've compressed the male
and female selections into one adaptive one. Depending on the sex of the creature in the medical pod at the time
of selection the graph will adapt displaying the reproductive chemicals typically assosciated with the occupant's sex.

Back to the Custom selection. By pressing it's button you'll be greeted with a blank screen titled
"Custom Graphing". To begin graphing a chemical of your choice click on one of the lines indicated by the colored dots
to the left of the screen. (Click where text would usually be in any other graphin screen.) From here you can enter a
chemical index number (1 - 255). If the index you entered is associated with any named chemicals in the Materia Medica
catalouge file your entry will be converted into its assigned name. (My Materia Medica Update is reccomended.) From this
point on depending on which color you assigned to your chosen chemical, the line of the same color will begin to graph it!

The second major feature is text based chemical selection. By opening the Chemical Analysis screen and selecting the
Chemical Injection Module (the syringe filled with green fluid) you will be greeted with...surprise...the Chemical Injection Module.
Those of you familiar with this module will notice that the text box (center, upwards) is blank. The display has been converted into a text
entry part. Similar to the Custom Graphing feature to select the chemical of your choice simply click the text box and enter the index.
As with the custom graphing if the index is associated with a name your entry will be converted to it. Congrats! The Chemical Injection
Module is now primed with the chemical of your choice!

The third major feature is speech bubble controlled autoinjection.
FOR THIS TO WORK MAKE SURE THE CHEMICAL INJECTION MODULE IS OPEN.
While the hand is in generally the same area as the Chemical Injection Module it will respond to speech bubble commands.
The only one (currently) is "inject". The syntax is like this "inject xxx xxx" with the first xxx being the dosage from 0.1 - 1 mole
(rounded up to the nearest tenth) and the second xxx being the chemical index. This is a quick and easy way to inject chemicals HOWEVER
this is reccomended for advanced users only as there is no confirmation and the Chemical Injection Module will not hesitate to inject your
creature with whatever you told it to.

The fourth major feature is keyboard shortcut autoinjections.
FOR THIS TO WORK MAKE SURE THE CHEMICAL INJECTION MODULE IS OPEN.
By pressing various combinations of keys at the same time you can signal the Chemical Injection Module to inject a batch of chems in a specific sequence.
The Chemical Injection Module will alert you with a ping (if you are nearby to hear it) when finished. The key combinations are as follows:

Ctrl + I = Immunization Injections (Antibody 0 through Antibody 7 at a dosage of 1.0)

Ctrl + L = IV Drip or "Liquid Food" (Pyruvate 0.3, Glucose 0.3)

Ctrl + T = Sleepy Injection (1.0 dose of Tiredness, Sleepiness, and Sleepase)

Ctrl + F = Fill the Syringe Completely

Ctrl + E = Empty the Syringe Completely (without injecting it)
