METALLOPHAGUS GRENDELS V2 of Grendel Man

From V1's Readme:
"What does the word 'Metallophagus' mean? Well, a rough Greek translation would be 'Metal eater.'

Yes, that's right. These odd grendels can feed by eating metal, or rather by hitting gadgets and machinery. While they get most of their nutrients in this manner, they still require a source of food nearby for a complete diet. While this does mean they're rather easy to please diet-wise, their digestive system lost the ability to process most organic foodstuffs, and as such they will become sick if they try eating seeds, fruit, or the like."

V1 of the Metallophagus Grendels was more or less a quicky breed I made for April Fools' Day 2011. At first I wasn't planning on giving them a V2, but after sending a few to LNA (Live Nornish Action) and seeing how well they did I changed my mind.

V2 originally started out as the same as V1, just more refined (and with a spiffy carrot to munch on). Then I remembered how Gaia was able to eat gadgets and machinery without the stuff itself having an eat script. I took a look, and after some fidgeting....

The Metallophagus Grendels V2 truly live up to their name - provided you inject the included "Edible Gadgets" agent, they can literally eat gadgets and machinery regardless if they were actually built for it. If they can pick it up, they can (and most likely will) eat it. I recommend locking up your important gadgets (such as the Anti-Bacterial Spray) before hatching a group of these guys.

V2 has a few other features to separate themselves from V1. V2 ages a bit slower than V1 does (although both versions have about the same lifespan). V2 also has an increased relationship with Heavy Metals - not only do they get an immune boost from it, Heavy Metals can also aid in the healing of some of their vital organs. In addition, a starving Metallophagus Grendel can oxidize his store of Heavy Metals for emergency nutrition in the form of glucose.

While V2 is normally placid, any norn who dares harass a Metallophagus Grendel - either by overcrowding or by slapping the grendel - risks facing a swift and painful retaliation. Given that V2 shares its increased resistance to slapping with V1, the norn isn't likely to come out on top.

The Metallophagus Grendels V2 use the sprites of the standard C3 grendel (Grendel A).

TECHNO-ORGANIC CARROT of Grendel Man and Mea

The Techno-Organic Carrot is an odd breed of carrot. Being both inorganic and organic at the same time, it is typically found growing in places like the Bridge on the Ark or the Capillata's Hub. It provides both food and gadgets for your Metallophagus Grendels, and patches of Techno-Organic Carrots often become favorite hangouts for the breed.

Normal creatures can also eat the techno-organic carrot, but they must beware rusty or rotten carrots as they contain trace amounts of heavy metals.

The carrot uses the classifiers 3 8 18828 (Seed), 3 8 18829 (Shattered Seed), 2 11 18828 (Carrot), 2 10 18827 (Rotten Carrot), and 2 10 18828 (Carrot Leftovers).

Installation: Put the .agents file into your "Creatures 3/My Agents" folder or "Docking Station/My Agents" folder and you should be able to hatch Metallophagus Grendels with the Egg Layer or Muco and inject their agents with the Creator or Agent Injector.

Please do not host this on your own website unless My Little Hole goes down and you cannot contact Mea or I.
