Better Bees and Hives is a fix for the C1 bees and beehives which swaps the push and pull scripts for the hive so that pulling the hives angers the bees and pushing the hives gives a mouthful of honey, to better match other vendors that feed on push like the island carrot vendor. It also reclassifies the bees as 2 16 1, a new genus representing badcritters or pests.
::----- readme.txt -----:: ************************* * Better Bees and Hives * ************************* This is an improved version of the official Bees and Hives Update that fixes inconsistent vendor behavior and reclassifies bees so creatures can learn that they're dangerous. In the original update, wandering bees don't have eyes, but the bees near the hives do. One version of this COB stays true to that, but I've also provided a version that gives all bees eyes. Aside from the bee sprite used, both Better Bees and Hives COBs are identical. Use whichever one you prefer. Changes: - Swaps the push and pull scripts so that pulling the hives angers the bees and pushing the hive feeds creatures honey, to match other vendors that feed on push, such as the carrot vendor. - Reclassifies the bees as 2 16 1. 2 16 is an entirely new genus of object representing "badcritters" or "pests". Installation: - Place the .cob and .rcb files for the version of your choice in. - Inject the Better Bees and Hives into your world and enjoy.
